16 incoming students named inaugural Wolf Scholars

Sixteen incoming students in the University of Toronto's Faculty of Arts & Science have been named members of the inaugural cohort of Wolf Scholars.

Created by U of T and the Wolf Cooper Foundation and delivered in partnership with the Faculty of Arts & Science and the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy, the Wolf Scholars program aims to support and develop the next generation of leaders through interdisciplinary learning, experiential opportunities and leadership development.

This year's scholars were selected from a pool of more than 1,000 applicants in recognition of their intellectual curiosity, leadership potential and civic engagement.

"Selected from among the best and brightest students across Canada, this outstanding group has demonstrated academic excellence, civic engagement and leadership," said Stephen Wright, dean of the Faculty of Arts & Science. "We look forward to welcoming them to the University of Toronto this fall."
