17 faculty members elected Fellows of the Royal Society of Canada

Seventeen faculty members from the University of Toronto have been appointed Fellows of the Royal Society of Canada – a prestigious distinction given to the country’s most distinguished scholars, artists and scientists.
“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all the University of Toronto faculty members who have been elected Fellows of the Royal Society of Canada,” said Leah Cowen, U of T’s vice-president, research and innovation, and strategic initiatives, who has been elected a Fellow this year. “These scholars are shaping the future of their fields and inspiring the next generation of researchers, and their achievements reflect U of T’s enduring commitment to excellence, curiosity and impact.”
