‘Thank you all’: A holiday message from U of T President Melanie Woodin

In a holiday message to the U of T community, President Melanie Woodin thanks faculty, librarians, staff, students and alumni for their encouragement during her first year as the university’s 17th president.
She remarks that it has been a privilege to engage with the community about the university’s future.
“U of T is a place where we can think freely about what it means to be human, what it means to live in society, and about the wonders that nature has to reveal. And it’s a forum where we can talk openly and respectfully about the challenges and opportunities before us,” she says in a video message released today.
“With a new year on the horizon, let’s resolve to build on our history of excellence in service to society.”
“I wish you and your loved ones a very happy holiday season.”
